The owner is Anne-Mette Hjalager. The firm is operated as a “network enterprise”, where most jobs and contracts are solved in close collaboration with other consulting partner or with the customers. Advance/1 is not a traditional employer, but sources by cooperating with other independents and consultants. The firms is also closely interlinked with universities and research institutes in Denmark and abroad. In addition, Advance/1 is working with employers’ associations and labour unions. Advance/1 attempts continually to maintain and develop creative contacts between research and practice. Research is fed into practical consulting. And results and reflections from practice provide new inspiration for research. Anne-Mette Hjalager takes part in national and international research projects, and she is the author or co-author to many research publications (see list).
